Mitch Leff 

President and CEO

Mitch Leff is a public relations professional with four decades of experience. He is recognized as one of the strongest and most effective public relations strategists and media relations specialists in Atlanta. He founded the agency in 2003.

He began his career with Cohn & Wolfe Public Relations, at the time the largest public relations agency in the Southeast, rising to become Media Relations Director for the Atlanta office. For many years, he edited the Cohn & Wolfe Metro Atlanta Media Guide, the definitive guide to Atlanta media.  

Mitch also spent several years 
with the Atlanta offices of Edelman Public Relations and GCI Group. He left agency PR to become director of public relations for Turner Learning, the

educational division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.

Mitch has provided public relations services for some of the world’s most prestigious companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, AOL Time Warner, the National Football League, UPS and many others. 

He is a member of the Atlanta Press Club, the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Public Relations Society of America. He has volunteered on the marketing committee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta since 1990.

Kim Woodcock Speece

Media Relations Specialist

 

Kim Speece joined Leff and Associates in 2015. She previously worked as a television producer focusing on special projects and long format news shows in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC.

She received a regional Emmy for her work on a documentary celebrating the life of Arthur Ashe. Kim worked in New York City as a freelance producer focusing on health and wellness and owned a media relations firm in New York. After a move to Atlanta, she worked as an educator and writer focusing on learning differences and educational disparity.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Kim is a graduate of James Madison University with Bachelor degrees in Communications and Health Sciences. She was one of the college television station’s first female sportscasters.

Kim is very active in her community and has served on several boards as well as leadership roles in her children’s schools. She is a member of the Atlanta Press Club, Society of Professional Journalists, the Georgia Entertainment PR Alliance,  and the Atlanta Track Club. When Kim is not working, she is either out for a run, reading, or pacing while fanatically watching college sports.
